Bass Pro Shop's Pass It On Award is given annually to a member of T.O.W.A. who has made significant contributions to passing on to others the love, appreciation, and conservation of the fisheries, wildlife, natural resources, and outdoor environment of Texas. Through writing, editing, photography, art work, volunteerism, teaching, leadership, working with our youth, speaking engagements, financial support, and activism, this person has actively and passionately passed on his or her enjoyment of our resources and participation in the wide, wide range of outdoor opportunities.

One of the highlights of the annual conference, the Excellence in Craft awards ceremony pays tribute to the outstanding outdoor journalistic efforts of our active members.  The best articles, photos, videos, books, illustrations and other works are recognized and awards are presented to the top entries.  Through the courtesy of General Motors, cash awards for the top two entries in most of the categories are presented to the winners.  Entry requirements are listed below: The submission form and a copy of the entry requirements are available here in PDF format.
